Charlotte Rose March

August 28   -   7.10am   -   2.83kg   -   48cm

Charlotte joined our family 3 months ago and it has been (mostly) blissful as a family of 4. 

Sophie has grown into quite a toddler and has been a really lovely big sister. She shares her toys with Charlotte, and if Charlotte is crying Sophie goes straight to her to try and pick her up - it keeps me on my toes! Charlotte is a very different baby to what Sophie was, she is a real snuggler and flat out wont take a dummy or bottle. 

Travis says she is a purist, doesn't want any synthetic things in her mouth. 

We are looking forward to our first family christmas together, this year with Travis' family.

Winter update

Not long now until our second little one joins us, and in the meantime Sophie has been keeping us endlessly entertained with her big smiles and adorable-ness! She's learning to use a spoon, and below is doing "yard inspection" with Dad. We also had some family photos with the bump taken, I just LOVE them!

Sophie's First Birthday

Sophie had a ball! It was such a lovely day, and it was so nice to have everyone over to celebrate for her. We were all shattered afterwards, Soph was asleep before I had done the grow bag up and Trav and I were out by 9pm. 

Was a really cool day, but glad we only have to do it twice a year!

Our 2 Children

Yes, bub number 2 is on the way, due end of August. There will be around 16 months between Sophie and Newbie and no, we won't be finding out what colour to buy before bub arrives. 

We are very excited about our new addition and can't believe how quickly time is flying by!

Cyclone Sophie

Sophie is now 7 months old and into everything! She has learnt to commando crawl and goes directly past her clean safe toys and heads for anything not child-friendly - eg. the dogs waterbowl, electrical cables, guitars, rubbish bins, shoes etc.  So we have nicknamed her Cyclone Sophie. 


We had a week with Travis' family in WA in November and she had a great time with the family over there.  She had her first trip to the beach while we were there. 


We are looking forward to her first trip to New Zealand next week for her first Christmas.
